About PuckLogs

PuckLogs is a free, ad-free hockey research site focused on skaters and teams: every skater's shots on goal, points and ice time, every game, with context. There are no ads, affiliate links, sponsorships or paid tiers.

Data credit

Statistics come from the NHL's public stats feed (api-web.nhle.com and api.nhle.com). PuckLogs collects that data politely (one request per second at most, cached) and publishes its own tables and charts built from it. We don't offer raw data downloads or an API.

PuckLogs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Hockey League, the NHL Players' Association, or any team. NHL and team names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to identify teams and games. We don't use league or team logos.

Updates

Data is refreshed and the site rebuilt on a schedule. Last data update: 2026-11-03 19:53 ET (8,459 skater-games, 743 skaters). Live game scores are not tracked; pages show the state at build time.

Definitions

• SOG: shots on goal. PPP: power-play points. TOI: time on ice per game (min:sec).
• Last 5 / Last 10: the skater's most recent 5 or 10 regular-season games played.
• Hit rate: the share of games in a window where a skater reached a mark (for example 3+ SOG). The sample size (n) is always shown; small samples are noisy.
• Shots for/against: team shots on goal summed from skater totals in each game.
• Line combinations: derived from NHL shift charts; the time on ice when exactly the same three forwards (or two defensemen) were on together, all situations.
• Lineup proxy: on game previews, skaters listed are those who played in the team's most recent game. They are not confirmed lineups.

Corrections

Stat corrections from the league are picked up on the next refresh (the last three days are re-pulled every run).
